Marisa Panella

Growing up, I had two talents: talking and writing. Naturally, I turned those talents into a career as a communicator, creative writer, and multimedia journalist. I am currently open to freelance writing opportunities.

I graduated summa cum laude from Loyola University Chicago with a Multimedia Journalism degree, where I excelled in classes such as video production, broadcast news writing, feature and opinion writing, and magazine production and design. I also spent time publishing pieces with The Loyola Phoenix and Loyola's "Hot Topics" Neuroscience journalism project. I am a fiery and opinionated writer who specializes in opinion and creative nonfiction.

Currently, I am in the start-up world, honing my skills surrounding mass communication, corporate strategy, email marketing, and early career advising. I am a multi-faceted and talented young professional whose career is just beginning.
